I initially became fascinated with the dental field at the early age of thirteen. During my first dental experience, I was as scared as any patient would be, having had three root canals done at one time! I am no stranger to the dental chair. I will always treasure having this firsthand experience because it helps me relate to our patients and calm their every worry.

I began my professional dental journey in 2007, becoming a Registered Dental Assistant. I enlisted in the Army Reserves, where I became a Distinguished Honor Graduate for both Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene, serving the soldiers. On the civilian side, I have my degree in Math and Science from Daytona State College, graduated summa cum laude, and received the Academic Medallion for Dental Hygiene at Monroe Community College. I’m also proud to be a Pankey Institute Certified Dental Hygienist.

Over the years, I have been the recipient of the Dental Hygiene Association of New York Presidents’ Award, the Stevenson Award for academic and clinical proficiency, the Rochester Area Colleges Outstanding Adult Student Award, and the Presidential Volunteer Award

Born and raised locally, I am no stranger to the beautiful beaches, where you can find my husband and me playing volleyball or building sandcastles with our young daughter, Zevah. On the weekends, you can find me doing volunteer work for food drives, attending Zevah’s soccer games, rollerblading the streets with my Yorkie (Jax) running alongside, or just running (I recently completed my first 10k!). When I’m not busy, I enjoy baking delicious cakes for my family to enjoy.

I get to help patients smile every single day, and there is no better feeling in the world! I’m a University of Miami graduate and began my dental career at a call center for over 60 different dental offices. I eventually moved my way up to regional manager for seven different practices, and now I’m thrilled to be part of the team at Water’s Edge Dental.

I am a mother of five wonderful children, three girls and two boys, and my husband is an Army veteran who served for eight years. My passion is reading, I love a good book (especially the Harry Potter series). I enjoy spending time with my family whether we are at the park, at the pool, or just watching a movie…it is my absolute favorite thing to do!
